About Paul J Dougherty

Paul Dougherty, M.D., is a University of Florida professor of orthopaedic surgery and a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon at UF Health Jacksonville. He also serves as chair of the UF Department of Orthopaedic Surgery and Rehabilitation in Jacksonville, as well as program director of the Orthopaedic Surgery Residency. Dr. Dougherty received his medical degree from the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Bethesda, Maryland. He did his medical residency in orthopaedic surgery at Letterman Army Medical Center in San Francisco and Naval Regional Medical Center in Oakland, California. He also completed fellowship training in orthopaedic trauma at the University of Louisville in Louisville, Kentucky.
