Welcome to the Orthopaedic Surgery Residency Program in the department of orthopaedic surgery and rehabilitation at the University of Florida College of Medicine – Jacksonville. This program is fully accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education, or ACGME. Our department's vision statement is "Restoring lives through excellence in patient-centered, comprehensive care while educating future generations." In 2013, our program celebrated 50 years of graduates serving the orthopaedic needs of their community. Our faculty are dedicated and committed to the education of our residents by providing them with the supervision, guidance, didactic and clinical education and technical training so each individual may obtain his or her best level of accomplishment. This site will introduce you to our program, faculty, institution and the exciting city of Jacksonville.

As a strong believer in family, I invite you to further explore our site in order to get to know our Jacksonville orthopaedic family and then contact us to answer any questions you may have. I would also encourage you to visit us prior to the resident application deadline so you can learn even more about our program. Again, thank you for visiting our website.
